Updating individual modules manually without using the update control
You are also able to install individual modules directly from the update directory. Using this method may be necessary if the buttons in the RC Update are not updating the modules.
Download and install the update directory as directed in Step 2 use the Manual Download method if necessary.
Open the update directory folder (klibupdate) via the File explorer
Open the chronological (date.pdf), revisions in template order log (Revisions.pdf) or changelog for recent changes to the templates. Determine which templates you wish to update in your Resource Centre.
Reference the RC Update Control (JZUPDATE) listing to help identify the modules you wish to update. Files in the klibupdate folder are named with the Resource Centre file name (KLIB or FRMLIB) and the module ID appended to the end. For example the Home menu has the ID "CP" so in the klibupdate that file name is klibCP.cvw.
Make sure you backup your existing Resource Centre before copying in any modules. If you have customized a module, that customization must be applied to the downloaded module. Retaining a copy of your previous Resource Centre as a reference will make it easier to reapply those customizations to the newly download modules.
Use File Explorer to copy the modules from the klibupdate folder to your Resource Centre (KLIB) directory. You will be prompted to confirm replacement of existing files, answer YES to replace the files.
Once you have updated the Resource Centre, follow the same steps mentioned previously to update the templates in your client and master files.
