JZ050 How to I modify the margin spacing (top/bottom) in the Jazzit financial statements?

Sometimes a preparer may need to add extra spacing to the top/bottom margin of the financial statement. A common reason is to leave room for pre-printed letterhead. This article will show you how to add or remove space margin space at the top or bottom in a particular set of financial statements.

Solution

The CaseView’s header/footers determine the top/bottom margins in the Jazzit financial statements. The preparer can find the headers and footers in CaseView by clicking Document > Modify (Headers/Footers).

You will be presented with a number of headers/footers and a preview of the selected header/footer.

Each header/footer applies to specific pages in the financial statement. For example: Header 3 affects only pages associated with the balance sheet. Each header/footer preview will indicate what pages it applies to. Click OK to edit the selected header/footer in CaseView.

Click on the applicable dropdown to set the margin space. You may also be presented with a Default top (bottom) margin setting. This setting affects other header/footers if they are using the default margin space.
