When preparing the Not-for-profit statements for the Restricted Fund Method it is recommended you use the 9-column Statement format. Using the 9-column Statement Format you are able to program each fund as a separate column on the Statement of Financial Position, Revenues and Expenditures, Changes in Net Assets/Fund Balances and the Statement of Cash Flow.
Start off by dividing the trial balance into separate funds using the Caseware consolidation feature (page 3).
Assign the GL accounts to the respective funds (page 5).
In the Jazzit financial statements switch over to the 9-columns statement format in the Admin section of the Home Menu.
