There are three Statement of Changes in Net Assets format options when using the 9-column Statement Format: Format A, Format B - funds in columns and Format C (Format B in the 2-year with % Statement Format).
USING FORMAT B - FUNDS IN COLUMNS
For this format to work efficiently, the trial balance should be divided into the different funds (page 3) and the GL account numbers assigned to these funds (page 5). This will allow you to allocate a fund to each column and automate the balances as much as possible.
Jump to the Statement of Change in Net Assets and select Format B - funds in columns from the yellow popup cell. Click on the folder icon to open the Statement settings section.
Select the checkboxes under each column to turn on the number of funds you want to show. You can show up to 7 individual funds.
It is recommended that all accounts are assigned to an entity if you are planning to use the 9 column statement to display funds in separate columns. If columns 1-7 all use entity, anything not assigned an entity will not be included in CY and PY totals.
