Your existing Caseware file contains information that you won’t lose when you copy Score components into your file.  You will be doing two important things to your Caseware files:

 

You will need to merge Score components into each Master and client file only once.  On year-end close, the Score template will properly move current year information into the prior year etc.  All Grouping and Mapping attributes will remain unchanged. 

 

1.     BACK UP!  Back-up your client file.

2.     KNOW WHICH GROUP YOUR Score FILE USES.  The default group is group 9.
