Linking Statements to Generic Notes
Totals in the following notes can be transferred to the Balance sheet, Income Statement and certain schedules (SC1, SC2, and SC6).
Compatible Note types:
 
  • All Generic Two Column Notes
  • Government Remittances payable other than the income tax note
  • KP 1 - 3 or 4 column note with comparatives
  • KP 5 - Other assets note
  • KP 6 - Inventory note
  • KP 8 - The 1 to 5 column, multi-section note
  • KPC - The 3 to 5 column, multi-section note
 
To do this, insert a linked line via the Express Button in the statement/schedule you are linking to.
 
Note: This works only newly inserted lines. For 9 column statements including SC2 and SC6, this feature will only work if only the total columns (Total CY + Total PY) are visible.
 
 
Then double-click on the map number cell to bring up the Link to generic note window. Click on the next to the note you want to link. Click on the Note title (Cell Label) to view/preview the note.
 
 
Note: You will need to add the Note Number Reference separately.
