JZ031 Can I copy a schedule I created in a Jazzit client file to another Jazzit client file?
If you would like to copy a schedule from another Caseware file you will need to have the same schedule inserted into the destination file first. The destination schedule should have the same number and format as the source schedule.
Solution
Position your cursor on the top of the schedule you just inserted and enter Enable Editing (View > Enabled Editing) mode.
Right-click on the Delete Button for the schedule in the top right corner and choose Get this schedule from another file.
Browse to the file which has the schedule you want to insert and select the [Filename]FS.cvw file.
A comparison dialog will appear, click on Replace to bring in the new schedule.
Answer No to the dialog box that opens asking you if you wish to keep input values. This will bring in the formatting of the other file.
For any 9 column type schedule, column settings will not transfer from the source file. Column settings may need to be set again if required. Alternatively, column settings can be set in the destination file to match the source file settings before copying in the schedule from the source file.
