If you are not linking to an external Caseware file, you can import client data into a consolidation file.  Caseware prompts you for the entity to import to when you bring the data in using Engagement > Import > Accounting Software.

 

If you are bringing in only one trial balance which must be distributed across several divisions, you can use Excel to assist in the import.  There are two methods, breaking the existing trial balance into worksheets by entity or inserting a new column in your spreadsheet.
