CGA (PPM) Subscribers

There are no updates to the PPM checklists. Firms using the existing Jazzit CGA (PPM) Programs and Checklists are recommended to move to the two Review checklist packages (PEG Review and CPEM Review) and/or the Audit package (PEG Audit). Your firm has the option to delay the transition, however files with a year-end on and after December 14, 2017 must use the new PEG checklists.

For year-ends on or before December 13, 2017, firms using CGA (PPM) checklists have 2 options.

Voluntarily switch to CPEM for review engagements and PEG for Audit engagements.
Delay transition and continued to use PPM for either review or audit engagements

The table below can be used as a conversion guideline if you are currently subscribed to the Jazzit PPM Programs and Checklists wanting to transition immediately:

Jazzit Administrator performs:	Move to the new CPEM CHECKLISTS. Download the new files (as per above) to replace the existing files. Refer to Downloading the Checklists from the Jazzit Support Centre for instructions on downloading the Jazzit Programs and Checklists. Delete the old CGA Review Master and CGA Review KLIB files. Set the path to the Resource Centre in the JZPCKEY in the CPEM Review Master to the CPEM Review KLIB.	Move to the new PEG CHECKLISTS. Download the new files (as per above) to replace the existing files. Refer to Downloading the Checklists from the Jazzit Support Centre for instructions on downloading the Jazzit Programs and Checklists. Delete the old CGA Audit Master and CGA Audit KLIB files. Set the path to the Resource Centre in the JZPCKEYA in the PEG Audit Master to the PEG Audit KLIB.
File preparer performs:	Delete all existing CGA Review checklist from client files. Use copy components to bring new CPEM Review checklists into client files. Make sure the path to the Resource Centre in the JZPCKEY in each client file is set correctly.	Delete all existing CGA Review checklist from client files. Use copy components to bring new PEG Audit checklists into client files. Make sure the path to the Resource Centre in the JZPCKEYA in each client file is set correctly.
